WARREN — David L. Perry, 72, of Warren, passed away peacefully at Lincoln Health-Miles Campus on December 28, 2023.

David was born on March 10, 1951, to Alvin Perry and Bertha (Learned) Perry. He was raised by Bertha and her second husband, Foster “Sully” Sullivan, after Alvin’s premature passing.

David grew up in Owls Head, attending local schools and graduating from Rockland High School, class of 1969. After high school, David attended Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute.

David worked for the Maine Department of Transportation in various roles and was also a mechanic for Libby Chevrolet in Rockport for many years. David attended Andover Tractor Trailer School in Massachusetts where he earned his Commercial Driver’s License. David made use of his CDL by running trucks for the Maine Department of Transportation.

David enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, trapping, and camping. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

David was a free spirit and very loyal person and loved simply just living his life.

David is survived by Joan, his wife of 49 years; son, David and his wife Devon; and grandsons, Joshua and Tyler.
