THE Camden Area Business Group has announced that after some logistical challenges, the show will go on, and fireworks will be held Thursday, July 4, at 9 p.m. over Camden Harbor. 

 

"We cannot thank Art Tibbets enough for the use of floats and to Central Maine Pyrotechnics for continuing to work with us through these challenges," said Erick Anderson, Chair of the Camden Area Business Group Board of Directors, in a news release.

 

 "While we were under different guidelines last year which adjusted the shoot location site, we are very excited to share that this year's show will be able to return to its historical location in front of Curtis Island," said Anderson. "Lastly, this event would not be possible without our supporters, and this year we received an outpour of support from the local business community and residents alike."
