Joel Paredes, RN, named Cardiac Rehab Manager at Pen Bay, Waldo

ROCKPORT and BELFAST — Joel Paredes, RN, has been named manager of the Cardiac Rehabilitation department at Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital.

In his new role, Paredes will work to further align both departments and work with care team members to improve patient outcomes. Paredes has been with MaineHealth for the past five years, most recently as a unit-based educator in the Waldo Emergency Department.

“We are excited to welcome Joel to our team,” said Chad Woodard, director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation departments at Pen Bay and Waldo, in a news release. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his emergency medicine background, and we look forward to the growth in this service line under his leadership as we work to better serve our communities’ needs.”
