SPRUCE HEAD — The Craignair Gallery invites the public to the Opening Reception of Fair Winds & Following Seas, an exhibition of fine art by Owls Head artist John Bisignano (1929-2021), on Wednesday, July 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. All proceeds from sales will be donated to the scholarship fund of the Maine College of Art and Design, Portland.

During his life, Bisignano created fine art in the form of collage, sculpture, acrylic paints and photography. His decades-long exploration of the relationship between color, light and form brought the element of surprise and delight to his colorful works that include landscapes, seascapes, and still life. Bisignano’s works have been widely exhibited throughout the country and are included in over 100 private collections worldwide.
