ROCKLAND — Buddy Doyle will sign copies of the book "Where Maine Reads" on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 1 - 4 p.m., at the Rockland branch of Maine State Credit Union, 168 Camden Street.

Event details include:

-The event will feature a short reading by local Maine author Buddy Doyle
-People can purchase the book at the 168 Camden Street location the day of the event or at local independent bookshops across Maine including Sherman's in Rockland.
-Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit children's literacy programs in Maine and Maine Public’s statewide literacy programs.
-Refreshments will be served

"When Buddy approached me with the idea of sponsorship, I didn't hesitate.
