look for clues hidden around Merryspring

Wildlife Detectives family program, Aug. 2

CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will host a program called Wildlife Detectives as part of its Free Family Fridays series on Friday, August 2, at 10 a.m.

There are mysteries hidden in nature waiting to be solved. In this program, children and their families will use their detective skills to look for clues hidden around Merryspring. The group will also examine mammal skins and skulls to see the difference between herbivores and carnivores. This program is a fun introduction to the native mammals of Maine and their unique adaptations.

This program is outdoors. In the event of heavy rain, this program will be canceled.

Free Family Fridays will take place at Merryspring on select July and August Fridays at 10 a.m., and are sponsored by Camden Riverhouse Hotel.
