Quarry Hill’s Awareness Series presents “The Importance of Immunization”

    CAMDEN — Quarry Hill’s Awareness Series presents “The Importance of Immunization,” an educational event lead by Samuel Benham, H(ASCP), infection preventionist at MaineHealth, to be held Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Anderson Inn.

    “Over the course of history, immunization has been effective in helping to keep millions protected against some of the most devastating and deadly diseases,” said Quarry Hill, in a news release. “In the recent past, however, many unheard-of diseases have emerged, making immunization even more crucial.”
