Some of our Select Board candidates have spoken about the importance of legacy.  I'm reflecting on the unique legacy left to us by our predecessors in the form of our enchanting waterfall and millpond created by the Montgomery Dam. 

 

If we are to preserve this legacy, we need to elect both Ken Gross and Stephanie French to the Select Board.  Although  they're both open-minded about the proposals regarding the fate of Montgomery Dam, they strongly support preservation of this legacy. 

 

We should not be swayed by the allure of government money when what we value more is our citizens' love of our waterfall.
