BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court July 26 - Aug. 1. 

Joseph Jeffrey, 44, of Bangor, probation violation in Belfast Feb. 15, 2022, probation partially revoked, continued, and no sentence imposed. 

Karen A. Hamer, 42, of Searsport, operating a vehicle without a license in Swanville Sept. 20, $150 fine. 

Billy D. Grotton, 44, of Waterville, theft by deception in Swanville Feb. 12, 2022, acquitted; illegal possession of live fish in Swanville Feb. 12, 2022, $100 fine; ice fishing with greater than five lines in Unity Feb. 19, 2022, $300 fine; violating a fishing rule in Swanville Feb. 12, $300 fine. 

Shane L. Thibodeau, 53, of Belfast, violating a condition of release in Belfast July 27, 24 hours in jail.
