ROCKPORT — As part of Coastal Mountains Land Trust's "Arts on the Hill" program, the Midcoast a cappella vocal ensemble VoXX: Voice of Twenty kicks off the 2024 season with a performance on Sunday, June 23, at 3 p.m.

VoXX will welcome summer with a selection of sacred and secular pieces centered around themes of love, loss, and the changing of the seasons. Pieces range from the fourteenth century Ecco la Primavera to a setting of Billy Joel's And So it Goes.

As always, these outdoor concerts are free and open to all.

“Bring your friends, family, and a picnic, but please leave dogs at home,” said CMLT, in a news release.

Overflow parking will be available at the field next to the trailhead lot on Beech Hill Road in Rockport. Please do not park on the road.

Sponsors of this concert are Bangor Savings Bank, Cold Mountain Builders, and First National Bank.

Plan to arrive early to allow time for the .75 mile walk up to Beech Nut. For those in need of assistance, please email the Land Trust at info@coastalmountains.org to arrange for a ride.
