Arts on the Hill concert to feature Rockville and Telescope Club bands

ROCKPORT — Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s Arts on the Hill program brings two bands to Beech Hill on the same day.

“Dust off your dancing shoes for Sunday, September 22, beginning at 4 p.m. The Hill will be rocking!” said CMLT, in a news release.

Rockville is a Midcoast Maine roots music band, according to CMLT. A unique blend of folk, country, blues and rock with a sprinkle of reggae. Rockville offers a mix of original music that speaks to the elements, the natural world and the human experience. The rugged coastline and beauty of this place inspires Rockville to make music.

Telescope Club is duo Noah and Khaya, who currently live off grid in Downeast Maine. They began performing in NYC where they met. Their music is focused on comparing these opposite locations, city and rural. Described as alternative-folk-punk-indie-rock, Telescope Club has a minimalist approach to arranging stimulating live shows and recordings.

Plan to bring a picnic, relax and enjoy the spectacular view.

All Arts on the Hill performances are free and open to all ages but please leave your dogs at home.

Arts on the Hill is made by possible and presented by Bangor Savings Bank, Camden Coast Real Estate, Cold Mountain Builders, and First National Bank.
