    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from June 17-24.

    James Ball, 20, of Union, operating under the influence (alcohol) and operating without a license (conditions and restrictions) both in Cushing Dec. 12, 2023; both dismissed; operating under the influence (alcohol) in Cushing Dec. 12, 2023, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Christopher P. Barnes, 38, of Rockport, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Rockland June 6, 2023, $400 fine all suspended, eight months in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, bodily injury and violating condition of release both in Rockland June 6, 2023, 30 days in jail; driving to endanger in Rockland March 18, 2023, $575 fine all suspended, license suspended three years, registration suspended; operating under the influence (drugs or combination), with one prior, in Rockland March 18, 2023, $700 fine, 30 days in jail, license suspended three years; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland March 18, 2023, $400 fine all suspended, 30 days in jail.

    Jennifer Benner, 24, of Waldoboro, operating vehicle without license in Washington April 22, 2024, $150 fine all suspended; motor vehicle speeding more than 30 miles over the speed limit in Washington April 22, 2024, $500 fine.

    Richard Fyfe Benoit, 38, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland June 12, 2021, $400 fine with $120 suspended; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland June 12, 2021, dismissed.

    William Deane Jr., 47, of Friendship, unlawful possession of fentanyl powder in Thomaston Feb. 17, 2024, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Feb. 17, 2024, 14 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Thomaston Feb. 17, 2024, $400 fine all suspended, 14 days in jail; operating after habitual offender revocation, with one prior, in Rockland Feb. 14, 2024, dismissed; theft by unauthorized of property, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and criminal trespass all in Rockland Feb. 14, 2024, 14 days in jail.

    Mark Defino III, 22, of Boothbay and Camden, assault in Camden Sept. 12, 2022, $300 fine; criminal attempt and violating condition of release both in Camden June 13, 2023, $300 fine, all suspended for each charge.

    Timothy Roger Dumas, 46, of Manchester, operating while license suspended or revoked in Washington March 7, 2023, $250 fine; violating condition of release in Washington March 7, 2023, $250 fine all suspended.

    Taylor L. Grierson, 30, of Thomaston, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Thomaston Aug. 25, 2022, $500 fine all suspended, seven days in jail, license suspended 150 days; endangering the welfare of a child in Thomaston Aug. 25, 2022, 48 hours in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked (operating under the influence) in Rockland Oct. 9, 2023, $600 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended one year; violating condition of release in Rockland Nov. 15, 2023, 48 hours in jail.

    Melanie Keene, 50, of Northport, operating vehicle without license in Camden Feb. 19, 2024, $150 fine.

    Rebecca Libby, 37, of Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol), no test, two priors, and unlawful possession of scheduled drug both in Warren May 26, 2022, both dismissed; operating under the influence (alcohol) in Warren May 26, 2022, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    David J. Pike, 36, of Portland, violating conditions of release, seven counts, in Hope May 3, 2023, in Appleton Jan. 31, 2023 and April 26, 2023, in Union Nov. 19, 2023, in Thomaston Sept. 6, 2022 and March 8, 2023, in Rockport July 30, 2022 and Feb. 9, 2023; failing to stop for an officer in Thomaston Sept. 6, 2022, guilty; failure to give correct name, address or date of birth in Rockport Feb. 9, 2023, guilty; theft by receiving stolen property in Hope May 3, 2023, guilty; attaching false plates in Thomaston March 8, 2023, guilty.

    Karen L. Prosper, 64, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Thomaston Jan. 13, 2024, $500 fine; seven hours in jail, license suspended 150 days, restitution $1,965.75.

    Dakota T. Sanford, 30, of Belfast, operating after habitual offender revocation in Rockland Nov. 24, 2023, $500 fine, 30 days in jail.

    James T. Sharp III, 42, of Warren, operating without a license and failure to register vehicle both in Rockland July 6, 2022, both dismissed.

    Danielle L. Vosmus, 46, of Friendship, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Sept. 3, 2023, unconditional discharge.

    Jordyn R. Walker, 24, of Washington, domestic violence aggravated assault in Rockport Nov. 15, 2023, dismissed; domestic violence assault in Rockport Nov. 15, 2023, guilty.
