“Influential People in Warren” talk is focus of next Historical Society meeting
WARREN — Warren Historical Society celebrates 60th anniversary of incorporation at its next meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 7 p.m. Karin Larson, W.H.S Historian, will give a talk on “Influential People in Warren.”
Moses R. Mathews was a grocer, treasurer for the town of Warren and he endowed the Warren Free Public Library with enough money to build their library building. Tena McCallum held the position of Superintendent of Schools, and Charles Webb founded the Warren Telephone Company.
Meeting is free to the public and will take place at the Dr. Campbell House and Museum, 225 Main Street.
