Protecting Our Vision presentation offered at Quarry Hill, July 25

    CAMDEN — Quarry Hill’s Awareness Series presents “Protecting Our Vision,” an educational event lead by Dr. Lynne Kaplinsky, ophthalmologist at Mid Coast Vision Care, Thursday, July 25, at 11 a.m., at the Anderson Inn.

    Vision can worsen with age due to genetics, daily activities and surroundings. Learn the types of vision loss common in older adults, prevention strategies and the latest in aids and assistive technologies.

    Quarry Hill’s Awareness Series is open to adults 50 plus and addresses a different health-related topic each month. Light refreshments will be served.
