The local Belfast and Camden Lions Clubs have challenged each other to see which school in their respective districts can collect the most eye-glasses, cell-phones and hearing aids. This drive will last until the end of March.

Collection boxes for RSU 71 schools have been set up at BAHS, CASS, THMS, Ames and Weymouth buildings.

The Lions are asking the public to dig out and bring in all those old, no longer used glasses and cell-phones.

“It is OK if they do not work or are broken,” said Belfast Lions, in a news release. “This is a recycling project.”
