“Beatles: A Day in the Life” kicks off Labor Day weekend 2024 in Camden

CAMDEN — “A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience,” a touring celebration of The Beatles, is back on the stage of the Camden Opera House, 29 Elm St., Friday, Aug. 30, at 7:30 p.m.

Camden native Morgan Cates, who wrote and premiered the show some years ago, describes “A Day in the Life: A Beatles Experience” as taking audiences on a multi–sensory journey back to the turbulent decade of the 1960s. The Beatles’ entire groundbreaking career, from Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road, is recreated through live music and multiple costume changes, while a video backdrop depicts the highs and lows of their era. The show recreates more than 30 Beatles songs, many of which were never performed live.

“’A Day in the Life’ fills the seats and provokes standing ovations every year, so advance ticket purchase is encouraged,” said the opera house, in a news release.

Choose-your-own reserved seats are $40 for adults downstairs (orchestra) and $34 upstairs in the balcony. Tickets for those younger than 18 are $25 in any seating section. For tickets, visit camdenoperahouse.com or call the box office at 236-3154.
