THOMASTON — On Saturday, Aug. 24, in conjunction with the Maine Authors Book Festival, the Thomaston Academy will have an open house, open artist's studio and art show in the Academy building. 

The art will be on display on the second floor. Access from the parking lot where there is an elevator or enter through the front door.

The event is from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
