Chris Whytock, Fire Chief for the City of Rockland, has been awarded his Chief Fire Officer Level II certification from Maine Fire Chief’s Association.

The officer program was developed by the Maine Fire Chief’s Association and looks not only at work experience and training but also professional contributions, memberships and community involvement.

According to Brunswick’s Fire Chief, Kenneth Brillant, Chief Whytock has demonstrated a great deal of involvement in all these areas.  “It is a testament of his hard work and dedication to the position of Chief for the Rockland Fire Department”, said Chief Brillant, in a news release.
