Pen Bay, Waldo County General to host Farmers’ Markets in May

ROCKPORT and BELFAST — Community members are invited to attend spring Farmers’ Markets on the campuses of Pen Bay Medical Center, in Rockport, and Waldo County General Hospital, in Belfast.

The Waldo event will take place Thursday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the parking lot to the right of the Biscone Medical Building (119 Northport Ave.), across the street from the main hospital.

The Pen Bay event will take place on Friday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the main hospital campus, in the employee parking lot located near the Pen Bay Skin Center (8 Wellness Ave.).

Care team member and community vendors will showcase and sell a variety of products, including farm fresh eggs, baked goods, fresh seasonal produce, handcrafted soaps and lotions, handmade crafts and gifts, and jewelry, among others.
