The Normand Dubreuil Scholarship fund continues to provide educational assistance to Mainers looking to learn a trade at a local community college and Maine Maritime Academy. This is the 5th year that Maine State Credit Union has funded this endowment which is now at over $500,000 in donations.

The Normand Dubreuil Scholarship fund was created in memory of Maine State Credit Union’s late President and CEO. Through this fund, many Mainers, regardless of need, have been able to continue their education and receive degrees in various fields.

“Helping Mainers succeed is at the core of everything we do at Maine State Credit Union,” said current President and CEO Stephen Wallace, in a news release. “Learning is a life-long habit, and by helping student be able to afford to continue it is something that would make Normand proud.”

The Normand Dubreuil endowment fund extends well beyond the classroom and into the communities by empowering people and strengthening the economy by assisting many who can achieve remarkable things and become future leaders in their fields, communities, and Maine.

The Normand Dubrueil funds are managed and distributed by the Maine Community College Foundation as well as Maine Maritime Academy.
