Lions, football players team up to decorate Camden village green for the holidays

CAMDEN – The Camden village green is once again lit up for the holidays, with the addition of five Christmas trees decorated with color lights.
Two days after Thanksgiving, Camden Lions club members teamed up with Five Town Football coaches and players, who all volunteered their morning to set up and string lights around an 18-foot evergreen tree and four small trees.
The festive addition has the village green ready for a cheerful holiday season, which will officially kick off in Camden when the Christmas by the Sea celebration rolls into town Dec. 4, and continues through Dec. 5 and 6.
The Lions club has sponsored this endeavor for many years, with recent volunteer help from Five Town Football coaches, players and families.
