Foreign Auto Rendezvous at Owls Head Transportation Museum, Sept. 21-22

    OWLS HEAD — Foreign Auto Rendezvous, Owls Head Transportation Museum’s last outdoor event of the 2024 season, takes place September 21 and 22, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    “Join like-minded automotive enthusiasts to celebrate the irresistible, rare, and glamorous foreign imports from across the globe,” said OHTM, in a news release.

    Start your engines and cruise over to OHTM for this annual 2-day salute to the diverse world of foreign automobiles. There will be interactive displays, Family STEM Center, free antique car rides, full museum access and an open-air cafe. Special $12 tickets are available only online, visit owlshead.org.

    Witness history in motion, as the Museum demonstrates its world-class collection all event long. See automotive technology advance before your eyes with the 1913 Rolls-Royce 40/50 Silver Ghost, the 1940 Mercedes Simplex 40/50, the 1907 Renault Vanderbilt Racer, and the 1938 MG SA and 1952 Citron.

    Watch aeronautical history take flight, with airplanes including the 1917 Curtiss JN-4D, 1917 Fokker Dr.1 (replica), 1917 SPAD XIIIc.I (replica) and the 1918 Standard J1. Special displays will feature vehicles like the 1932 MG J2, 1909 De Dion Bouton, 1950 Triumph Motorcycle, 1922 Royal Enfield, 1929 Rolls Royce “Clara Bow” Phantom, 1958 Isetta, 1958 VW Beetle.

    Get free admission for you and one passenger when you exhibit at this event with any foreign classic, custom or special interest vehicle that is 20+ years old. Visit the OHTM website to RSVP that you will be coming, for priority placement out on Runway 17.

    Special $12 Online Ticket Prices
    New this year. Attendees can purchase tickets to this event online and save. You must bring confirmation email with you the day of the event, as the email is the ticket. Special $12 ticket prices and refunds are available through September 21, then all tickets will be sold at the door at regular pricing of $18.

    Members: FREE (members get free admission to the museum and all outdoor events)

    US Active Military Members, Military Dependents and Veterans get in for free.

    Aircraft Exercises & Biplane Rides
    With more than a dozen rare, restored and replica aircraft in the collection, OHTM is thrilled to include antique aircraft demonstrations as part of this event (weather permitting.)

    Parking

    Free, onsite parking is available to all museum guests. Accessible spaces are located to the immediate right of the museum’s main entrance near the bright orange awning.
