BELFAST — The First Church in Belfast invites the community to the Annual Summer Fair on the front lawn.

“The Fair has taken place each summer for more than 50 years and draws a wide attendance of visitors from near and far,” said First Church, in a news release.

This year the church will host a fresh Strawberry Shortcake Festival along with traditional favorites: Baked Goods and Jane’s Scones, Plants, Fleas to Treasures, Kids Face Painting and Popcorn, Jewelry and Accessories Boutique, and Crafter Marketplace. A Silent Auction will take place during the day with new and antique items.

The Belfast Bay Fiddlers will play on stage from 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m.; and Amy Kercsmar and Nick playing on the harp and guitar from 9 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.

FOOD TRUCKS: Stonefox Creamery Ice Cream, The Moody Dog Gourmet Hot Dogs and Shift Wood Fired Pizza food trucks will be open on Spring Street, which will be closed to traffic.
