Volunteers may be using small hand tools to assemble some of the equipment.

Approximately 20-25 individual or business volunteers from the community are required each day from August 19 -23, in order to complete this project.

With the community’s support, soon our community will be able to witness the smiles of children and families as they enjoy a playground with accessibility, especially designed equipment, and safe surfaces for play and fun. This will be the only playground of its kind in the Mid-Coast area.

“The Community Build will be very much like an old fashioned barn-raising,” said Rockland Rotary, in a news release.
