“Solo performers, duos, and groups are welcome to be part of this frightfully fun show”

Watts Hall Community Arts to hold performer interest meeting for ‘Tales of Terror’ Halloween variety show

THOMASTON — Have you ever dreamed of performing on stage at Watts Hall? Now’s your chance. Watts Hall Community Arts will hold a Performer Interest Meeting for the upcoming event, “Tales of Terror: A Halloween Variety Show.” Organizers are seeking performers of all backgrounds and talents to take part in this spooky and fun-filled show.

The Performer Interest Meeting will take place on Monday, Sept. 23, at 5:30 p.m., at Watts Hall Community Arts, 174 Main Street, Thomaston.

“We invite anyone interested in participating to join us to learn more about the show and share their ideas, said Community Arts, in a news release. “From dramatic readings and eerie skits to spooky songs and chilling dance routines, we're looking for a diverse range of performances to make this year's event one to remember.”

"Tales of Terror" is a Halloween-themed storytelling and variety show designed to send shivers down your spine and tickle your funny bone. Community members are invited to submit proposals for their own original acts—whether it's a spine-tingling story, a creepy poem, a haunting song, or a bone-chilling dance number. Performances should not exceed 10 minutes in length, and participants are responsible for preparing their own materials. Rehearsals will be limited to one or two technical rehearsals during the week of the show.

Tales of Terror performances take place Friday and Saturday, October 25 and 26, at 7 p.m. Performers who aren't available for both performance dates are still encouraged to submit their proposals.

Those unable to attend the Performer Interest Meeting are encouraged to email wattshallcommunityarts@gmail.com with your proposal. Solo performers, duos, and groups are welcome to be part of this frightfully fun show.
