The Strand Theatre presents a new edition of its radio variety show series Strand On The Air with the “Summer Staycation Edition” on Sunday, June 30, at 5 p.m. The show can be heard by tuning in to WRFR at 93.3 in Rockland or by streaming at WRFR.org. Following their broadcasts, the radio shows are made available as podcasts.

Pack up your picnic basket, your sunblock, and your big floppy hat and head straight for home, as the Strand On The Air presents its “Summer Staycation Edition!” Join Liz McLeod and the Strand Family Players for laughs in Abysmal Point, as Mrs. Grunden and the gang prepare for the world premiere of Glittering Greta Crummet’s Clam Dance, and the intrepid journalists of All Things Rescinded explore the burgeoning phenomenon of summer camps for grownups.

There’ll be new tunes from Brittany Parker and summertime musical guests Patty Jackson and Rusty Blake, and a dramatic recitation by noted orator Dr. Ryan Jackson.
