SPRUCE HEAD — Tables overflowing with books, kitchenware, workshop tools, antiques, crafts, jewelry, chairs, puzzles, collectibles, and artwork will fill the Spruce Head Community Hall, Village Road, on Saturday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. Baked goods, coffee, and tea will also be available.

"Lots of really unusual items have been donated to help support the programs and upkeep of the Community Hall, and interesting  donations are still coming in,” said Flea Market Coordinator Gretchen Le Blanc, in a news release.

For 101 years, the Community Hall has been the site of dances, weddings, potluck suppers, lectures, slide shows, meetings, and special birthdays. The cost of joining the Spruce Head Community Hall and Historical Association remains the same bargain amount enshrined in the 1923 bylaws: 50 cents for a lifetime membership.
