Sean Fleming organ concert in Searsport, Sept. 22

    SEARSPORT — The First Congregational Church in Searsport welcomes back organist Sean Fleming, on Sept. 22. The church is located at 8 Church Street, and the concert begins at 3 p.m. Admission is by suggested donation.  Donations help continue the eclectic concert series at the church, May-December.  
     
    Sean Fleming is an in-demand keyboard and organ artist, accompanist, and arranger. He performs regularly with his two bands, The Red-Hot Peppers, and the Sean Fleming Dixieland Band. He is on the roster of the Amethyst Chamber Ensemble, and is a member of the Maine Friends of Music Chamber Ensemble.  
     
    A piano and organ recitalist who has performed throughout the United States, Fleming studied organ and piano with Ray Cornils, John Doney, Michael Lindsey, and Gerald McGee. Fleming was the 2009 St. Botolph Club Foundation grant award. He will be performing his September 8 concert on a 1906 two manual, Lane pipe organ.
