Maine Outdoor Film Festival comes to Camden Amphitheatre on Aug. 29

CAMDEN — The Town of Camden and the Camden Public Library welcomes the Maine Outdoor Film Festival Selects Tour back to the Camden Amphitheatre on Thursday, Aug. 29, for an evening of outdoor adventure and conservation films shown on the big screen under the stars.

The event will be free and open to the public, although donations of $5 - $10 are suggested, with proceeds benefiting the Camden Public Library and Teens to Trails.

Claim your spot on the lawn or Amphitheatre steps starting at 7 p.m., and bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for extra-comfortable seating.

Films will begin at 7:45 p.m., and the event will last 2 hours long with a 10-minute intermission. Restrooms will be available inside the library only until 8 p.m.

A tentative list of short films that will be screened can be found on the "What's Happening" adult events calendar at librarycamden.org.

The rain date is Monday, September 2.
