Remembrance of ‘Warren, a Vision for Everyone’ to be held Sept. 3

WARREN — The Warren Historical Society will meet Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m., at the society's home, the Dr. Campbell House, at 224 Main St., in Warren. Carolyn Wiley will present 'WAVE-Warren, a Vision for Everyone' a program which investigated the town's past, its present and what residents wanted in the future.

WAVE encompassed both adults and the students at Warren Community School, everyone was included. While adults gathered in groups to discuss topics ranging from economics to planning for population growth to how best draw the community together, the young people composed songs and sang them at the WAVE gathering in 2006. The students wrote poetry, even a poem about a murder in Warren.
