WISCASSET — The Medomak eighth grade girls basketball team traveled Thursday, Dec. 19 to Wiscasset and collected a victory during a high scoring game. 

In fact, the visiting Riverhawks collected a 57-7 victory. 

Scoring for Medomak were Kylie Blake (10 points), Kaylee Kurr (two), Eliza Luce (six), Michaela Lorentzen (four), Olivia Pelkey (17), Haley Puchalski (eight), Eilee Stelzer (six) and Mia Yeatts (two). 

Scoring for Wiscasset were Bella Orr (three points), Gabby S. (two), Julia T. (three) and Qiana H. (two). Most last names were not available. 

“We came out strong in the beginning of the game,” said Medomak coach Celia Philbrick. “We had great ball movement in the game and we had a great inside out game going on.” 

The next game for Medomak will be Saturday, Dec. 21 on the road against Vinalhaven.
