Event has passed

CAMDEN — Join Maine-based author Susan Jonason for a book talk, Q & A, and signing on Tuesday, June 18, at 6:30 PM in the Picker Room of the Camden Public Library. Jonason will discuss her debut novel, I Knew Men. This event is in-person only.

Summary of I Knew Men: Anna Frazier is about to go from her quiet midwestern home life to a worldwide stage, thanks to the unexpected arrival of Chris Newman – latest teen heartthrob and youngest brother of her singing idols, the New Men. Through Chris, Anna is introduced to fame, fortune, and love. But can love survive under the spotlight? Does music heal all wounds, even the deepest ones?

“ In her first novel, Susan Jonason has created a riveting story – packed with laughter, fame, death, deceit, self-healing, and love,” said CPL, in a news release.

A native of Minnesota, Jonason lives in Bangor, with her husband, Leo. They cherish time spent with their adult children and nine grandchildren. A classically trained pianist, Susan teaches and performs. She also owns and manages a consultancy business. In her spare time, she enjoys painting greeting cards and writing blogs about her writing and publishing experiences.
