ROCKLAND — Brent E. Crawford, 67, passed away August 31, 2024 in Portland, Maine. He was born in Belfast, Maine on January 3, 1957 to Robert K. Crawford and Mary Louise (Meservey) Crawford.  

Brent was single and enjoyed life. He resided in Rockland, Maine. Brent went to Belfast Area High School. Brent worked many locations from being a lobster stern man with Richard McMahan to retail. He enjoyed working on the ocean and with customers. He eventually retired and enjoyed being home with his animals.

Brent had a huge heart and would make people laugh. He loved visiting friends from Northport and missed his Saturday Cove house he grew up in. He especially loved the ocean in Saturday Cove. Brent loved his animals – he had several dogs and cats.   

Brent is predeceased by his parents, Mary Lou and Robert Crawford. 

Brent is survived by his sisters, Carol Ann McMahan and Janice C. Crawford; brother, Barry Crawford, and his beloved children, Alyson (Crawford) Meuth from Texas, Jacob Crawford from West Rockport, Maine, and Gabe Crawford from Florida and his grandchildren. He had many nephews and nieces as well.

Brent wants everyone to enjoy the precious time you have left. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Saturday Cove in Northport, Maine. Brent will be buried with his mom and grandparents in the Mountain View Cemetery in Camden, Maine.
