The Rockport Garden Club awarded its 2024 scholarships to two Camden Hills Regional High School graduating seniors who have both demonstrated an interest in horticulture and environmental education during their high school years, and expressed plans to pursue these interests in college.

 

Grace Moody, daughter of Cara Wincklhofer and Chris Moody, will be exploring these interests in majors at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

 

Eliza Nichelson, daughter of Becky Anderson and James Nichelson, plans to study biology at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

 

As part of the Rockport Garden Club’s mission, scholarships are awarded each June to students who are beginning or continuing their education in horticulture and environmental related fields. The scholarships are awarded based on planned curriculum, academic record, community service and level of need.
