SPRUCE HEAD — Everyone is welcome to enjoy the end-of-season potluck in Spruce Head on Monday, August 19, at 6 p.m. Held in the historic Community Hall, at 30 Village Road, the supper promises to include specialties from local cooks, gleanings from gardens and farmers’ markets, and dishes highlighted in the local publication From Our Home to Yours: A Spruce Head Cookbook (copies will be available at the supper).

“Please bring a favorite dish to share, plus a plate and utensils,” said Kathleen Brandes, in a news release.

Refreshments will be provided.

Following the supper, Community Hall President Peggy Williamson will screen photos from her “History of the Century-Old Spruce Head Community Hall.”
