Library skills classes for homeschool families offered in Rockland

ROCKLAND — Homeschool families are invited to learn and practice their library skills in these 45-minute lessons with Miss Katie. Kids will discover how libraries work and how to find the materials they want. The sessions will end with a scavenger hunt to practice what was learned.

These programs take place in the Children's Room at Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St, Rockland, ME 04841.
 
The first session is for Pre-K to Grade 3: An introduction to navigating in the picture books, basic nonfiction, and beginning reader sections on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. https://www.facebook.com/share/UCziPPwHYSFgiBGD/
