Jason White to lead Merryspring presentation on Pruning Fruit Trees, Sept. 26

CAMDEN — Jason White will lead an outdoor presentation on Pruning Fruit Trees, Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 12 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.

White will discuss how to prune various shrubs and fruit trees that may be found in your garden and around your property.

He has worked at Plants Unlimited for the past six years as a landscape designer, the last two as general manager, and has worked in the landscaping field since his teenage years. In 2021 White was recognized as the Young Nursery Person of the Year by Maine Landscape & Nursery Association, and is currently vice president of Independent Garden Centers of Maine.

This program is part of the Summer Talk series at Merryspring, sponsored by Renys – A Maine Adventure, and co-sponsored by First National Bank and Camden Riverhouse Hotel.

Attendance is free for members; $5 for non-members.
