BELFAST — Stanley Chevrolet will host their first "Horsepower for Heroes" Benefit Car & Bike Show on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 6 Belmont Ave., in Belfast. All proceeds generated from the show will benefit the Waldo County Firefighters Association. There will be food vendors, firefighter and EMS exhibits, RC racing and live music from the band "Koostix.”   
 
The Waldo County Firefighters Association is a nonprofit organization that provides support to all 14 fire departments in Waldo County. They offer training, equipment and financial assistance to the departments and their members. They are currently in the process of revamping their training facility that is used by local fire departments, EMS, and Police.

In an effort to help with their fundraising efforts to be able to renovate their training facility, all proceeds generated from the show will be donated to the WCFFA.
