CAMDEN — War Memorial Post 30, American Legion, awarded scholarships to two Camden Hills Regional High School graduating seniors.

Will Duke, son of Jon and Joanna Duke of Rockport, was awarded the Veterans Memorial American Legion Scholarship. Will is attending Central Maine Community College and will be studying business and financial management.

Benjamin Tripp, son of Ben and Gretchen Tripp of Cushing, was awarded the War Memorial Legion Technical Trades Scholarship. Ben is attending Maine Maritime Academy and will be studying marine engineering.

The Legion awards a scholarship to a graduating Senior of CHRHS and also a scholarship to any graduating senior who is pursuing work within the trades regardless of the high school location.
