ROCKLAND — CatVideoFest 2024, a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos, will be screened Saturday, Aug. 3, at 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 4, at 3 p.m., at the Strand Theatre. Ten percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to Pope Memorial Humane Society, located in Thomaston.

Videos in the CatVideoFest compilation have been culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. Screening events take place all over the world in a host of venues and raise money for cats in need, often through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to identify how best to serve cats in the area. 

“The 75-minute-reel of cat videos is family-friendly and can be enjoyed by anyone,” said the Strand, in a news release.

Tickets: $9/Adults; $8/Senior, Matinee and Under 12; $7/Strand Theatre Members.

Advance tickets are available at the Strand Theatre website at www.rocklandstrand.com. Tickets will also be available at the walk up box office 30 minutes prior to showtime.

The Strand Theatre is located at 345 Main Street, Rockland.
