    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity March 24-30. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    March 24

    Sam Vail, 24, of Appleton, was issued a summons for imprudent speed on Route 137 in Knox.

    March 25

    Corporal Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Meadow Road in Stockton Springs. The operator of a 2002 Pontiac was reportedly traveling too fast for the snowy conditions and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway. The vehicle traveled into a ditch where it hit a stump. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The driver was uninjured.

    March 27

    Matthew McIver, 30, of Thorndike, was arrested for violation of bail conditions (two charges) and operating after suspension (two charges).

    March 28

    Kami Moulton, 42, of Liberty, was arrested for an unpaid fine and issued a summons for operating after suspension on New England Road in Searsmont.

    March 29

    Leonard Maker, 46, of Searsmont, was arrested for a probation violation.

    March 30

    Eric Leeman, 62, of Liberty, was issued a summons for being the registered owner of a vehicle passing a school bus on Plummer Road in Palermo.
