BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic infraction July 13-21, for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle. In addition to the single traffic citation, the following activity was reported.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

July 13

Kevin Turgeon, 20, of Orono, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Park Drive in Winterport. 

July 17

A Brooks minor was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Littlefield Road in Brooks. 

July 19

Karie L. Laird, 44, of Bangor, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Old County Road in Winterport.
