Hosmer Pond Assoc. hosts Dark Sky speaker, Aug. 15

CAMDEN — Camden’s Hosmer Pond Association will host naturalist Serena Sanborn at its annual meeting on Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Camden Snow Bowl. The public is invited. The meeting begins with a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m., followed by the speaker at 7 p.m., and the business meeting to follow.

Serena Sanborn is a Maine Master Naturalist and avid member and volunteer for Dark Sky Maine. She will engage the audience in a program about the nocturnal world around us, from bats to frogs.
