    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic citation for speeding between Oct. 16-30. In addition to the citation, the following activity was reported. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    Oct. 16

    William Tripp, 19, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for furnishing liquor to minors on Denslow Road in Stockton Springs. 

    Melinda Jo Way, 43, of Salem, Massachusetts, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Blueberry Road in Northport. 

    Jordan Dennis, 36, of Montville, was arrested for operating under the influence, trafficking in prison contraband, illegal possession of hypodermic apparatus, possession of a schedule W drug, and driving to endanger on Bangor Road in Unity. 

    Oct. 17

    Jeremy C. Greatorex, 44, of Swanville, was issued summonses for possession of a schedule W drug and violating a condition of release.

    Oct. 22

    Jeffrey W. Rumney, 54, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a protective order on Back Belmont Road in Belfast.  

    Oct. 25

    Matthew S. Wood, 37, of Union, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and operating under the influence on Hope Road, stemming from an incident July 26.
