UPDATE: Missing Searsmont woman found safe

    UPDATE (5/2, 5:52 p.m.): Jacqueline Reed was located safe today after being unaccounted for since Tuesday, the Maine State Police said.

    She was located in Lewiston Saturday afternoon.


    Original story (5/2, 2:16 p.m.): 

    The Maine State Police and the Waldo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing Searsmont woman, who was last seen in Auburn, this past week.  

    Jacqueline Reed was last seen on Center Street in Auburn at 10 p.m., Tuesday April 28. 

    Reed is 5'6" tall, weighs 130 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes.  

    Reed lives on the Morrow Road in Searsmont. 

    Anyone with information on Reed or knows of  her whereabouts is asked to call the State Police's Communication Center in Augusta at 624-7076.
