RSU 13 Board to discuss new policies, ratify collective bargaining agreements
ROCKLAND — The RSU 13 School Board will meet on Thursday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mclain school.
The meeting will begin with an executive session scheduled to convene prior to the start of the scheduled meeting. A lengthy agenda includes reviewing amended policies for graduation requirements and the administration of medication to students, as well as ratifying a collective bargaining agreement for teachers effective September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2019. Ratification of a collective bargaining agreement for Education Support Professionals effective July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2018 is also on the agenda.
A number of school officials are scheduled to deliver reports, and a discussion of upcoming meetings will occur, including discussion regarding the Mid-Coast School of Technology.
