I write this letter of support for my brother, Owen Casas, independent candidate for District 94 (Camden, Isleboro, Rockport).

In an age of national political campaigns marred by scandal and dishonesty, it is refreshing to be able to wholeheartedly support a candidate whose commitment to decency and public service are without question. Owen is my older brother and closest sibling in age, so I speak with authority when I say you will not find a candidate more dedicated to honesty, family and community. 

Yes, Owen cares about property taxes, school funding, the environment and jobs for veterans. But on a personal level, I will tell you that Owen calls me on my birthday every single year without fail. He helps my parents cheerfully whenever they call on him. He encourages, supports and puts in the time to help his family whenever he is needed.

Owen will use those same qualities to serve the people of District 94. Please vote on November 8.
