I write in support of John Spear's candidacy for the House seat in District 92 (Cushing, Matinicus, St. George, South Thomaston and Thomaston). 

John has accumulated a wealth of experience in recent decades, serving as town manager (Waldoboro and Vinalhaven),  town administrator and several terms as selectman (South Thomaston), and business manager (for nearly 20 years) for SAD 50.  He has expertise in listening to his constituencies, negotiating with employees, volunteers, and service providers, and understands the complex and ever-evolving relationship between town governments and state agencies.  He is eminently fair, does his homework, and listens before he gives his opinion.  He will make an excellent State Representative -- please give John Spear your vote on Nov. 8.
