Delta Sky magazine to showcase Maine economic and business community
AUGUSTA — The State of Maine is pursuing an outstanding opportunity to tell the story of Maine as a great place to visit, study, invest and live. The December issue of Delta Sky magazine will include a special feature showcasing our diverse economic and business community, vibrant tourism industry and respected institutions of higher learning reinforcing the message that Maine is “Open for Business.”
The Maine profile will reach more than 5.4 million readers on Delta’s worldwide flights. These readers are business decision makers with over 4.5 million college educated and over 1 million with HHI of $175,000+. The estimated 20 page section will “fly” on-board Delta Air Line’s 15,000 daily flights and can be found at deltaskymag.com, Fly Delta iPad app, as well as copies placed on Delta private jets, Delta charter flights and in Delta’s SkyClubs.
Delta Sky staff editors will work with Maine-based business journalists to research and write editorial content for the special section, which will focus on the broad areas of visit, study, invest and live highlighting the state’s welcoming business climate, engaging quality of life, education and research, investment opportunities, vacation experiences and showcase the success enjoyed by existing industry throughout the state.
While there is no obligation to participate, we hope that Maine’s business community will take a closer look and determine a level of involvement that makes the best business sense for its goals and objectives as well as help the State of Maine promote economic development worldwide.
