Rockland’s summer AIR season continues
ROCKLAND — Arts In Rockland continues its 2015 season with an art walk this Friday, June 5 from 5-8 p.m. AIR’s 23 member galleries and artists will welcome visitors to downtown Rockland.
Some of the highlights will be Landing Gallery's HORIZONS, 56 new Maine landscape paintings by Sarah Faragher. Faragher will be at the opening to answer questions and talk about the inspiration for her new work at Landing Gallery's new location at 409 Main Street.
Win Wilder Hall, 328 Main St. presents Richard Iammarino Selected Works 1977-2015.
Dowling Walsh presents Stephen Pace (1918-2010) an artist who divided his time between studios in New York City and Stonington, Maine.
Carver Hill Gallery opens Augusto Bordelois’ Mis Suenos, Mis Amores, Mis Paises (My Dreams, My Loves, My Countries).
The evening continues at The Strand Theatre for First Friday Films presented in collaboration with the Farnsworth Art Museum, screening Seymour: An Introduction. Films in this series focus on artists and the visual arts, with a brief discussion following the screening.
